"Zephyrus" is a 90 x 90cm original Acrylic painting.
Available as click & collect only.
Zephyrus was considered one of the gentlest of the four wind gods in Greek mythology. Representing the west wind, Zephyrus was the beneficial bringer of spring bringing with him life and colour.
Painted as part of my “Stuck” project, thinking about trees and the colours I imagine air to be.
Originally created with many, many layers of Acrylic paint this beautiful image has hidden depth and detail in the tree. Zephyrus is a colourful image bringing zest and a breath of fresh air into the home.
The Artwork
This painting on canvas was created with water based acrylic paints and mediums. Painting mediums allow me to layer translucent colours and create areas of rich and varied colour.
The Dark areas of this painting were created with layers of colour rather than black, creating areas of rich, intense colour which are appreciated best in person.
This painting is currently on display in the BN5 gallery in Henfield.

Original artworks are available to view before purchasing and can only be collected directly from me. If you live further afield your artwork can be delivered by a specialist courier for a fee.
