Painting the Night - 23rd May

Please note this workshop is taking place at The Beeding and Bramber Village Hall, 10am - 4pm

In this workshop, we’ll learn to mix a rich, harmonious colour palette perfect for capturing the mood of a night-scene landscape.

We will work from our own reference photos, exploring shadow and moonlight.

Using acrylic paint, we will build layers, textures, and depth to create a finished nightscape to be proud of.

An acrylic painting, landscape workshop suitable for beginners and more advanced painters.

We’ll begin by learning how to mix a colour palette suitable for Nocturnes.

We’ll then all have a go at creating a beautiful, rich, landscape painting complete with moons and stars.

You can choose to work on canvas, or canvas board in this workshop. Feel free to use brushes, knives and any mediums you may want to bring. I’ll make sure you’re all getting lots of help and advice from me.

Tea, coffee and cake will be provided. Please bring a light lunch with you.

Information and a full kit list will be sent prior to your workshop.

If you are new to painting and missing some of the items you need please don’t worry, get in touch as I have plenty of equipment that can be borrowed.
