This course is suitable for painters who want a refresh and for those who haven’t picked up a brush since school.

We’ll be learning all about our paint kits and creating a small A4 painting each week.

The Workshop

A four week, Acrylic painting workshop
Thursdays 7pm - 9pm

Playing with paint is the perfect way to learn about it.

We’ll investigate different aspects of painting each week and practice what we learn by creating an A4 painting.

In week one we’ll investigate our tools - what we need and how to use it. We’ll create a quick, fun landscape.

In week two we’ll look at our paints and work out what colours we actually need.

In week three we’ll look at mark making, using different implements and creating an impasto painting.

In week four we’ll look at how to compose a landscape painting and create a focal point.

Tea and coffee (and probably biscuits) will be provided

Information and a full kit list will be sent prior to your workshop.

If you are new to painting and missing some of the items you need please don’t worry, get in touch as I have plenty of equipment that can be borrowed.
