"Painting Abstracts and Abstractions". an Acrylic Paint course. Sundays, 22nd March - 26th April (Not April 5th)

This workshop is taking place in Upper Beeding Village Hall over five weeks, 9.30am - 12.30

A five week abstract and Abstraction painting course investigating different ways to create and be inspired.

This course is suitable for experienced painters and those who haven’t picked up a brush since school. CLick through to the course information to take a look at some of the paintings we created on our last Abstract course.

We’ll be creating five new paintings for 2026! We will focus on using acrylic paint but we’ll also be using cling film, collage, pen, a paddling pool and maybe a little bit of sand.

This course will not be running on Easter Sunday (5th April) but there will be chocolate.

The Workshop

A four week, Acrylic painting workshop
Sundays 9.30am - 12.30

We’ll be creating a different style of abstract painting each week. We'll work methodically, randomly and messily.

During week one, two and three we’ll create some beautiful and dynamic abstract works.

In week four and five we’ll “Abstract” from the landscape and a big bunch of flowers.

This course is designed to be enjoyable, a little bit messy and to push you out of your painting comfort zone.

Tea and coffee and cake will be provided

Information and a full kit list will be sent prior to your workshop.

If you are new to painting and missing some of the items you need please don’t worry, get in touch as I have plenty of equipment that can be borrowed.
